A-01-01 - Aluminium unitised curtain wall system

Factory‑assembled, thermally broken aluminium unitised curtain‑walling system manufactured from structural‑grade extrusions finished polyester‑powder‑coated (PPC) or anodised to the architect’s colour schedule. Profiles are selected by structural analysis and configured to accept any glazing type together with opening vents, doors, louvres and ancillary façade elements. Each elevation is engineered to deliver the specified thermal, acoustic and structural performance. Where the system passes through spandrel zones all materials, except thermal breaks, membranes, gaskets and other permitted exclusions, shall achieve a minimum Euroclass A2‑s1,d0 to BS EN 13501‑1. Units are factory glazed, delivered to site and installed with mechanical lifting plant, eliminating the need for external scaffolding. Maintenance comprises external cleaning and, where required, internal IGU replacement. Proprietary, tested and certified system complying with the façade Performance Specification and architectural documentation. Tendering façade specialists shall provide full system details, test certification and Declaration of Performance; construction‑stage design is subject to project‑team approval.

 

A-02-01 - Aluminium window system (Inward opening side-hung window)

Thermally broken aluminium side‑hung, inward‑opening window system supplied either as stand‑alone frames or as factory‑prepared inserts for curtain‑wall grids. Structural‑grade extrusions finished PPC or anodised in the architect’s selected colour. The range accommodates all sash operating modes, spandrel panels, louvres and ancillary façade elements. For each elevation the system is engineered to satisfy the specified thermal, acoustic and structural criteria; materials located in spandrel zones must achieve a minimum Euroclass A2‑s1,d0 to BS EN 13501‑1, excluding thermal breaks and similar exemptions. Frames are factory fabricated and delivered to site generally unglazed; glazing is installed internally. Installation without external scaffolding. Routine cleaning carried out externally; glazing replacement from inside. Proprietary, tested and certified window system in accordance with the façade Performance Specification and architectural documentation. A-10-01 - Aluminium balustrade system

Proprietary aluminium balustrade system providing fall‑protection to Juliet balconies, balconies, terraces and similar locations. Extruded structural‑grade aluminium members PPC or anodised to the architect’s colour schedule; infill may be all‑aluminium or laminated‑glass panels mechanically fixed to the aluminium sub‑frame. Unless forming part of a fully tested window assembly, visible and concealed materials shall achieve Euroclass A2‑s1,d0 to BS EN 13501‑1. Depending on the chosen design, the system may be supplied as site‑assembled components or pre‑fabricated modules. Maintenance access will be required from both inside and outside as dictated by the balustrade configuration. C-01-01 - Aluminium support bracket

Structural‑grade aluminium support bracket forming part of the cladding sub‑frame. Concealed mill‑finish aluminium; PPC or anodised coating only where exposed. Bracket dimensions determined by structural analysis and, where specified, fitted with thermal pads to preserve façade U‑value. Brackets act as dead‑load and wind‑load anchors, restraining rails against vertical and horizontal movement. Provide bimetallic isolation where dissimilar materials meet and use stainless‑steel fixings. Minimum fire classification Euroclass A2‑s1,d0 to BS EN 13501‑1. Proprietary, tested and certified bracket system in line with the façade Performance Specification and architectural documentation. C-04-04 - Horizontal Rail (ventilation cavity)

Perforated horizontal rail manufactured from stainless steel forming the ventilation‑cavity sub‑frame for brick‑slip cladding. Profile geometry tailored to the proprietary brick‑slip panels; perforations maintain cavity width without increasing system build‑up. Rail designed to resist dead, live and wind loads, preventing panel displacement in all planes. Bimetallic separation to be provided where rail contacts dissimilar metals; fix with stainless‑steel fasteners. Minimum fire classification Euroclass A2‑s1,d0. Proprietary, tested and certified rail system compliant with the façade Performance Specification. E-03-01 - Stainless Steel Cast-In Channel

Stainless‑steel cast‑in channel system providing adjustable anchorage for façade and structural elements. Hot‑rolled or cold‑formed A4 (316) stainless‑steel channel cast flush into concrete slabs and factory‑filled with foam. Sizes and safe working loads established by structural calculation and manufacturer’s data; CE‑marked to EN 1992‑4 / ETA. Accepts stainless‑steel T‑head bolts for post‑fix adjustment. E-03-02 - Stainless Steel T-bolt (nut + washer)

Stainless‑steel T‑bolt assembly (bolt, nut and washer) for use with cast‑in or slotted channel systems. Material to BS EN ISO 3506‑1, offering high tensile strength and corrosion resistance. Sizes selected by structural calculation and manufacturer’s guidance. Supplied with matching stainless‑steel nut and washer for load distribution. E-04-01 - Stainless steel bolt (No1 nut + No2 washer)

E-04-02 - Stainless steel bolt (No1 washer)

G-04-01 - Mineral Wool Insulation

Semi‑rigid mineral‑wool insulation slab for façade applications, fixed with a minimum one non‑combustible anchor per slab at centres in accordance with the manufacturer’s tested fixing pattern. Thickness determined by thermal calculations to meet project U‑values. Insulation to achieve Euroclass A1 (preferred) or minimum A2‑s1,d0 to BS EN 13501‑1. H-02-01 - Double glazed unit (DGU-1)

Proprietary double‑glazed insulating glass unit providing weather‑tight transparent enclosure to windows, doors and curtain walls while delivering the specified thermal, acoustic, optical and structural performance. Glass make‑up engineered using manufacturer’s software and verified by calculation. Tested and certified IGU complying with the project Performance Specification and BS/EN standards. Tenderers to supply IGU design data, test evidence and DoP.

 

I-01-01 - Aluminium panel (thickness 2mm)

2 mm aluminium rain‑screen panel forming the exposed face of the façade, finished PPC or anodised to the architect’s colour schedule. Panel system provides weather protection, drained and ventilated cavity and interfaces with adjoining façade systems. Provide bimetallic isolation where in contact with dissimilar metals. System to interface with façade perimeter in line with the Performance Specification. Tenderers to submit floor build‑up details, test certificates and DoP.

 

L-01-03 - Ceiling build up

Ceiling build‑up comprising suspended grid, plasterboard lining or alternative finish to architect’s specification. Fire rating to local regulations. System must interface with façade elements in accordance with the Performance Specification. Tenderers to submit ceiling build‑up details, fire certification and DoP.

 

L-02-01 - Ventilation duct

Non‑combustible ventilation duct penetrating or forming part of the façade, fabricated from materials achieving Euroclass A2‑s1,d0 or better. Provide bimetallic isolation to adjacent metals and fix with stainless‑steel fasteners. System to meet the façade Performance Specification and relevant HVAC standards. Tenderers to provide duct details, fire certification and DoP.

 

L-02-04 - Packers

Packers/shims used to accommodate tolerance gaps during façade installation. Materials may be timber, metal or plastic but must meet fire‑class requirements where located within external wall zones. Provide bimetallic isolation where applicable and fix with stainless‑steel screws. System to meet the façade Performance Specification; tenderers to supply details and certification.


 L-03-07 - Insect mesh

Metal insect mesh or perforated metal sheet preventing insect ingress to external wall cavities. Material to be non‑combustible (Euroclass A2‑s1,d0) where located in external wall zones. Provide bimetallic isolation and stainless‑steel fixings. System to meet the façade Performance Specification; tenderers to provide mesh details, certification and DoP.

 

M-01-01 - Horizontal fire barrier (open)

Open‑state horizontal fire‑barrier system limiting fire spread within ventilated cavities. System selection based on project‑specific REI performance (loadbearing capacity, integrity and insulation), cavity depth and tested configurations. Supplied in proprietary lengths for on‑site installation. Tested and certified barrier system meeting the façade Performance Specification. Tenderers to submit full fire‑test evidence, technical details and DoP; design subject to approval.

 

M-01-02 - Fire stop

Fire stop system for non‑ventilated cavities, specified to achieve project‑defined REI performance. Thickness and cavity depth in accordance with manufacturer’s tested data. Supplied in proprietary components for site assembly. Tested and certified system complying with the façade Performance Specification. Tenderers to provide fire‑test evidence, technical details and DoP.

 

M-02-01 - Vertical cavity closer

Vertical cavity closer/fire barrier preventing fire spread between compartments via façade cavities. System selected for the required REI rating, cavity depth and thickness from manufacturer’s test data. Supplied in proprietary sections for on‑site installation. Tested and certified system meeting the façade Performance Specification. Tenderers to submit fire‑test evidence, technical details and DoP.

 

M-03-01 - Support bracket (fire)

Support‑bracket assembly for mounting façade fire‑barrier systems, designed in accordance with structural and fire‑engineering requirements. Stainless‑steel fixings recommended. Components selected to satisfy REI criteria of associated barrier. Proprietary, tested and certified system complying with the façade Performance Specification. Tenderers to provide bracket details, fire‑test evidence and DoP.

 

Y-01-01 - Holes for drainage and ventilation

Perforations in horizontal façade elements such as window‑head reveals, soffits and sill flashings to provide drainage and ventilation. Hole geometry is optional but must allow a 6 mm diameter sphere to pass so that surface tension does not impede water egress or airflow. Perforation layout and detailing to comply with the façade Performance Specification. Tenderers to submit perforation drawings and calculations for approval.

 

Z-01-01 - Concrete slab

In‑situ reinforced concrete slab forming part of the primary structural frame. Concrete grade, thickness, durability class and reinforcement specification to the structural engineer’s design. Tenderers to provide concrete mix data, test certificates and DoP. Construction‑stage information to be supplied by the façade specialist for perimeter coordination, subject to approval.
