Feature Banding in Masonry Facades with Balconies

This course is on façade constructed with traditional masonry, punched openings and feature slab protrusion clad in glass reinforced concrete (GFRC) panels. The façade has full-height opening and staggered balconies with both opaque and see-through balustrades.

Unique appearance of the façade was achieved with all standard systems that are available in most profile system suppliers and feasible for majority of UK-based contractors. Detail drawings, videos and explanatory clips explain buildability, performance, compliance and assembly-specific aspects.
