Cantilevers with feature protrusions in Unitised Facades

This course is on high-rise façade constructed with unitised curtain walling. The units of curtain walling are glazed with glass panes and aluminium panels. All part of assembly are prefabricated and installed from the inside of the building.

Unique appearance of the façade was achieved with all standard systems. Detail drawings, videos and explanatory clips explain buildability, performance, compliance and assembly-specific aspects, such cantilever interfaces, recesses, and additional support.

The building has significant areas of glazing, visible cantilever and a high-rise envelope with continuous unitised aluminium piers.
